Let me tell you about my story…

I have a very vivid memory of when I was about eight years old. It was Christmas, and we were taking a family photo. My dad took the photo and I said I wanted to take one too. The photo I took was crooked, and half the family wasn’t looking, but I'm still proud of it to this day. Around the same time, my sister and I would sit at our computer for hours making PowerPoints for fun. Let’s just say the transitions were WILD! Fast forward ten years and no one was surprised when I went to college to pursue a degree in media.

Since then, I've worked to grow my digital media skills, earning a B.A. in Broadcast Media and an MFA in Collaborative Design. I've worked for large organizations such as UVM Extension, the State of Vermont, and the UVM Health Network. With every project, I aim to maintain the same passion I had as the eight-year-old ready to take her first family photo.

After years of working for large corporations and a government agency, I have gained extensive knowledge in digital accessibility. From color contrast to alternative text, I’ve got you covered!

ADA Accessibility

While I enjoyed flying drones recreationally for a long time, in 2023 I became a Certified Drone Pilot. In short, this means that I am able to capture arial imagery for commercial purposes.

From farms to operating rooms, I have helped tell the story of many organizations across New England. I am adaptable in learning what is important to you and how to showcase that in the best light.

Founder of Woodland Studios… kind of.

The original Woodland Studios was founded in the late 1980’s by two brothers, Steve and Andy Erny, who just so happen to also be my uncle and father! Through their company, they utilized woodworking to craft beautiful pieces of art! While both brothers are now retired, they each still have their wood shops, and it’s not uncommon to find them creating something new.

I wanted to carry on the legacy of Woodland Studios. With that said, it’s probably best I keep my hands away from metal blades, so I opted to carry on the family legacy in a different way by leveraging my expertise in digital media.

Along with that…

I live in Washington, Vermont with my husband, J, and pup, Granger. When not working, I am usually either hiking, swimming, or watching competitive baking competitions.
